Barry is a passionate marketing and business leader with a proven track record of building strategies for a diverse set of brands. Before joining the Canadian Marketing Association as Chief Marketing & Diversity Officer, he served as vice-president of brand marketing at Knix, where he helped them scale into the United States prior to their acquisition in 2022. Prior to that, he held senior marketing roles with Iovate Health Sciences, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Maple Leaf Foods and Molson where he worked with a variety of athlete, team, and league properties to develop bring brands to life on the field and at retail. In his role at the CMA, he also serves as Co-Chair of the association's Diversity Equity & Inclusion Committee developing industry thought leadership and initiatives that create opportunities for a more inclusive and representative marketing profession in Canada.
